Living with Stress in Agriculture
“Living with Stress in Agriculture” is a practical self help programme for rural and farming groups. The FLC, working alongside the Agricultural Chaplain and the Farm Crisis Network, delivers the programme to local farming and rural groups. The programme consists of four 1-2 hour sessions which can be received flexibly, eg just the first introductory session, 2 or 3 sessions or the whole programme over 4 separate occasions:
Session 1: Getting to Grips with Stress
Session 2: Solving Problems
Session 3: Understanding Depression
Session 4: Managing Personal Resources
The sessions are designed to be delivered in a supportive way and offer practical advice on maintaining mental health and coping with stress.
