Facilities

FLC hosts a variety of community, social, educational and training events. 

Centrally located within the Peak District, it provides an attractive and unique rural venue for meetings, workshops and community events of all kinds.

The upper meeting room (5m x 6m) seats 25+ lecture-style; the lower meeting room (3.5m x 5m) is suitable for boardroom style meetings for up to 8 people.

The kitchen area is a re-creation of a 1950’s farmhouse kitchen and is a warm and welcoming centre-piece of the building.

FLC is available for hire by community, voluntary and private groups and organisations.  Ample car parking is available and the Centre can be accessed via public transport from Bakewell and Buxton.

Time allowed is maximum length of room occupancy - ie includes setting up/ clearing up time.  Use of separate kitchen area included in price.  Crockery/ cutlery available.  All equipment must be washed and put away after use.    Refreshments generally not provided - please bring your own and take away any waste/ rubbish afterwards.  However, we can recommend local caterers if you prefer.
